Free Printables for Download

This post is old! To see the the high-quality, affordable inserts I have for sale, please click “Printables” at the top of the page!

Like any planner nerd who loves finding just the right insert for her needs, I have dabbled from time to time in making my own planner printables.

There’s a reason I mostly use premade inserts from Peanuts Planner Co and My Summer Touch; I’m not very good at this. But if you need something very specific, sometimes doing it yourself is the best option.

I’ve shown these inserts in action before on my YouTube channel, so I thought they might be useful to someone else. That’s why I’m making a couple of them available here on my blog for free download.

These downloads are available free of charge to anyone who finds them useful. I make no guarantees of any kind. You may print and use, edit and redistribute as you like, provided you do not sell any version of my inserts without talking to me about it first. You can resize it or tweak it and host your version on your own website, but I’d appreciate it if you give me credit if you do.

Blank Template

Here is a Word Document formatted for Filofax Pocket size. You can use it to print anything for storage in your planner. I’ve used it to print baby milestones, prayers, game hints…

Just be sure to use the pages in the order shown here, to ensure everything prints in the right order.

YouTube Video Prep

I actually print this insert on one side of the page, and then cut it in half horizontally. That way it doesn’t take up too much space, but I can still remove each video’s notes as soon as I’m done with them.

It’s small and cramped, but it works for me. If you’d like to give it a try, download away.

Newborn Log

I hate that this is a thing, but I’m glad I had an insert ready for it.

Doctors ask a lot of very impertinent questions about a newborn’s digestive system, and it’s a lot to remember on 0 hours of sleep. Our doctors weren’t satisfied to know that Baby was doing “fine”. They wanted numbers, but even the tracker they gave us in the hospital was clunky and unhelpful.

This insert has columns for feed times, (indicate left or right side) wet and dirty diapers (put their age-appropriate goal in the parentheses). Based, of course, on a 24-hour day. You can also highlight the hours when they sleep (if they ever do)

New parenthood is such a magical time! I hope this insert helps you keep a little shred of your sanity until your next 20-minute nap. Godspeed.
