I’m waking up this morning at a reasonable hour, to a quiet house without a crying baby. Merry Christmas!
We celebrate Christmas Eve at my in-laws’ house, and last year we decided to make it a tradition for the kids to spend Christmas Eve night with their grandparents. So the baby slept over with them last night while we set up the gifts under the tree and got a nice long sleep.
When she wakes up and everyone is feeling ready, they’ll be coming over here for breakfast, so I have to get out of bed soon and start brewing coffee and frying eggs. I think this is going to be a really nice tradition.
I don’t have much to say today, except to wish you all a very merry start to your Christmas season. Remember, it goes until the Presentation!
