This post is a week later than it should have been, but here is a closer look at a few of the features of my recent planner flipthrough on YouTube, which, check that out:
Done? Good. Welcome back!
These tabs didn’t turn out exactly like I wanted them to, but I’m not unhappy with them. Click that video link to see exactly why.
In any case, it was high time for me to make new divider tabs–the old teal ones were months old–and I picked the Winnie the Pooh theme because that’s going to be the theme of my daughter’s birthday party early next month.
I pulled out the old E. H. Shepard drawings and plagiarized them blatantly with a Pigma Micron and cheap watercolors.
I’ve been including a new Contexts/Next Action Items list in my monthly plan with me videos for a while now. I use this categorized list insert from Peanuts Planner Co and decorate it a bit to match the month’s color theme.
Only this month, I didn’t feel like making a new one, as May’s was only half full and I was lazy. So this list is carrying over from the previous month.
I’ve actually been doing pretty well checking things off side A (not shown) which is good, because I’m thinking about switching up the categories next time.
You can watch the Plan With Me video here, and then see what I’ve done with it since. Mostly, I’ve just crossed things out as I did them.
I’m definitely going to reconsider the things I put on my monthly tracker. They’ve gotten stale and ineffective over the last few months.
On the left is DR-144 and on the right, DR-081, both from Peanuts Planner Co. I picked my favorite parts of two of my favorite weeklies. Maybe they’re not the perfect pair, but I’m enjoying playing around with the combo.
This new daily layout is from MySummerTouch. Full disclosure: it was sent to me for free. But I genuinely am really loving it. Super roomy and practical.
This is as basic is a project page can get. My mother-in-law is officially in charge of throwing the birthday party, so she’s assigned me a few jobs, which I’m keeping track of in my general projects section.
Special shout-out to the real MVP this month: The Gift Ideas spread! I jot down ideas I get for gifts people might enjoy. Usually my husband.
All I had to do for Father’s Day was pick one off the list, and he loved it!
These little icons are from TwinSixteen. They’re super cute and fun for planning my video production workflow. Previously I had them tucked in the back pocket, but decided punching them and leaving them in my Youtube section–where I’ll actually be using them–makes more sense.
And finally, the last piece of Winnie the Pooh artwork is the closest thing I’ve come to understanding die cuts. I’ve got some day of the week washi tape wrapped around for convenience, and the balloon looks super cute sticking out the top!
June is almost to an end now, so it’s almost time for my July Plan With Me, which is coming out on my channel this week! Go over to youtube.com/c/ganchi_mh and subscribe so you don’t miss it!
I’m also going to be posting daily videos during July! See you over there!
