074: Catholic Holy Days

Here’s another niche insert for my fellow Catholic planner people. Free!

A handy reference list of the dates and days of the week that major feasts and holy days fall for the next six years (that’s what fit on the page)

The holy days of obligation rules are per the USCCB, and obviously, these are the Latin Rite calendar dates. If you follow another calendar or set of rules for holy days, feel free to do whatever you have to do to edit the files for your own use. (And let me know! If I get enough interest, I can make different versions)

Notes:

Whenever January 1, the solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, or August 15, the solemnity of the Assumption, or November 1, the solemnity of All Saints, falls on a Saturday or on a Monday, the precept to attend Mass is abrogated. (source: USCCB)

In the archdioceses and dioceses within the Ecclesiastical Provinces of Boston, Hartford, New York, Newark, Omaha, and Philadelphia, the Ascension of the Lord always falls on Thursday of the Sixth Week of Easter and is a Holyday of Obligation. In all other archdioceses and dioceses, the Ascension of the Lord is transferred to the Seventh Sunday of Easter. (source: USCCB)
