September is almost over, so it’s time to share a few of the things I enjoyed this month! As always, you’ll find links to everything below, and be sure to check out the companion video, at the bottom of the post.
Here we go!
1. Favorite Planner Supply
Planner Kate Header Stickers
I’ve been meaning to find something like this for AGES, and I’m so glad I finally did.
I really like the look of the to do sticker over washi tape, as featured in my recent Weekly Plan With Me video.
Kate’s stickers come in really big sheets, so I know this will last me a long time! She also includes really cute freebies with every order.
Shipping from Ohio was quick and came with tracking, and I already broke down and placed a second order! (This time for “dinner” headers)

2. Favorite Video Game
Quern: Undying Thoughts
This game as been on my wishlist for ages, but I finally bought and played it this month.
If you’re a fan of atmospheric adventure games like Myst, you’re sure to enjoy this game.
I won’t give any of the plot away of course, but just know that this game is nice and long, so you really feel like you get your money’s worth out of it.

3. Favorite Baby Toy
Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Say Please Snack Set
Agnes has been having a blast with this toy. Something about it just keeps bringing her back.
She loves pushing the buttons to play music and hear prompts from the puppy characters, and will carry around the little plastic forks and cookies and pretend to eat them or offer us a bite.
It’s a table manners education toy, puzzle, and pretend play set all in one. Also, mercifully, it has a tiny off switch on the bottom! 😉
4. Favorite Cleaning Supply
Diaper Smell Eliminator Spray
Okay I can already hear the skepticism. Believe me, I’m not one to jump to essential oils as a remedy for anything!
But desperate smells call for desperate solutions, and my mother-in-law had the ingredients handy for me to borrow anyway!
I am blown away by how well this works. Before, our nursery had a constant, unpleasant, musky diaper smell. Not like “public bathroom” bad, but not the way I’d want my bedroom to smell either.
Now, every time I catch a whiff of a dirty diaper, I just pull out this little spray bottle and give the changing table area a liberal few spritzes. Right away, it smells pleasant, but after a while, the smell of the oil fades away and is replaced by the smell of nothing. It really works! I couldn’t believe it!
5. Favorite Household Product
Cloth Storage Cubes
These basic little storage cubes have turned by house from an absolute wreck into a livable space. They are so simple, affordable, and the perfect size.
They fit into the Ikea cubby shelves perfectly! But I also use them for miscellaneous storage elsewhere as well.
I recently decided the pile of toys in our living room was getting out of hand, and decided to dedicate the entertainment unit to Agnes’ toys instead. Now every evening, I simply drop her toys into one of these cubes sitting on the shelf, and the living room becomes a peaceful oasis for the rest of the evening!
I recently walked into my living room and recognized that it made me feel peaceful, which was a new and welcome sensation.
