Hello friends! I'm here to share a few of the things I'm proud of creating this month.
|
It's finally fall, and though the weather in Southern California is still confused, we just got our first rain of the wet season. My phone screen turns to its yellow "evening mode" before I leave work, and in the dark, I've started going to bed earlier lately. (But not before catching the Mandalorian on Disney+ right?)
|
Things at work are crazy, and things with my YouTube channel seem crazy too while I try to get ahead before the holidays hit full-force. I'm forcing myself to set it all aside to be fully present over Thanksgiving though.
|
I'm realizing more and more that that's the beauty of a well-constructed planner system: being able to trust it enough to put it down and focus on your life.
|

Of course, your planner also helps you hit the ground running when it's time to get things done! Here are a few of the things I've gotten done this November:

A dark horse contender has emerged to take over the spot long-held by my Frixion Hacks video, of most watched video this month.
|
My Alastair Method video, originally posted in January of this year, was recently recommended on a Boho Berry video and has been getting a lot of traffic this month.

Top Instagram Post

Surprisingly, my most-liked post on Instagram this month was a spread that I've already removed from my planner!
|
I'm always trying to set myself a weekly schedule, and I never stick to it.
|
This little list near the front of my planner was supposed to remind me of things I wanted to get done every week, but it wasn't very well implemented, and I never got it to work for me in this form.
|
|

Milestones
As you all know, I finally hit the 1,000 subscriber mark on YouTube this month!
|
|
Thank you so much to everyone who's just hopped on board this journey, and to everyone who's been around forever. I'm still going strong, and I'm excited to have you along for the ride!

Coming up next month, I'm working on a blog post and companion video showing behind the scenes of my process and gear. I'll show you how I film and edit, and the software and resources I use to make my content the best it can be.
