Welcome!

Well, we made it to the end of March.

I hope that wherever you are in the world, you're keeping yourself, your family, and your community safe. I live in an area of California with community spread of Covid-19, so we're taking our shelter-in-place advice very seriously.

On one hand, it feels like this whole pandemic has been going on forever. It's the overriding fact in everyone's life right now, so it feels like the only thing that's ever happened. On the other hand, life continues on for us, and there's a novelty to all this that I hate to say, is almost fun?

My husband and I have both been blessed with "essential" jobs, which we do mostly from a desk. So I've been working at home full time for a week now, while he's still going into the office (just with no traffic) several days a week. This comes with its own set of challenges, but overall, it's been going well.

Life has definitely not been impacted enough to put a dent in my production schedule! I don't have the mountains of free time that those who've been furloughed have (thank goodness) but I'm still plugging away here.

This is what I've been up to in March 2020:

Video Highlight

I love it when the video I put the least prep time into sparks lots of feedback and discussion.

It's always interesting to see the planner spreads of people who use a different size or system than me. But I always especially love it when I get to hear why that person likes using that size and system. It gives me more context, and helps me implement their ideas into my own planner, instead of just being tempted to go out and buy something that might not work for me.

That's what I tried to do in this video: answer the question, "Why don't you try ___?" while also explaining what it is about the Pocket size that I love. I hope this video helps you think more deeply about your own planner, whatever size or style it might be.

Top Instagram Post

I was surprised that this Instagram post was my most liked this month!

I've had these divider tabs from Danny's Planner Cuties on Etsy for two years now. They are pretty much my default when I don't want to spend time creating my own. I love them a lot, and they've held up really well.

But I finally got a new set of divider tabs, which I'm loving, and looking forward to showing in more detail in April's Flipthrough video. Stay tuned!

Coming Up

AdSense revenue has slowed down lately, for understandable reasons. And I've also been getting fewer views per video overall, but for now, I'm just plugging along with my current schedule. I hope you're enjoying the content! I'm always open to suggestions!

I'm working on a few projects that I've had on the back burner for a while. I'm going to be helping my husband set up his own planner, and share one of my own little to-do list hacks that I've been wanting to show for a while.

Also, keep an eye out. One of these days very soon (I just need to wrap up a few tasks on the backend first) I am going to be changing my Instagram and YouTube names to Ganchi Plans, to match the blog. Don't worry when that happens. It's still me!

Stay safe! I'll see you in April!
