It's been an exciting month for me, Ganchi-wise, but I don't think much of it was visible, so I want to show you a little behind-the-scenes peek today.
|
Fall is my favorite, and with the weather finally cooling down, my home is starting to feel more like a home and less like an oven. I've also made some progress on our living room, little things that never got arranged properly since we moved in. I hung curtains! It's minor, but just the ability to enjoy a space in your home is such a respite. And it helps to know where everything in the house actually belongs!

I've also been waking up an hour early to work on channel and blog things. I'm writing this right now at 5:20 AM with a hot cup of coffee in a quiet, sleeping house. What an improvement from those newborn months last year. (People keep asking when we're having another...) but the amount I've gotten done in that little window over the past few weeks has been astounding! I never would have set up this newsletter if I'd still only been working at night.

Fold-out inserts have a special aesthetic appeal I think, and this one from Peanuts Planner Co. with some fun colorful washi, is especially fun to see.

I set up a collection of seasonal props on my bedside table, and am working to make a habit of snapping a decorative photo of my planner before bed. It's given my IG feed a coherent color theme that people have really responded to.

Milestones
Ever since the changes to the YouTube Partner Program back in early 2018, it's been my goal to reach 1000 subscribers on my channel so I can re-monetize my videos. It's been a long, slow road, and I'm not going to jinx anything, but I am sooo close right now. Thank you!
